What does a Homestar 6 rating mean?

Homestar is a comprehensive, independent national rating tool, run by the NZ Green Building Council, that measures the health, warmth and efficiency of New Zealand houses. A 6 Homestar rating or higher provides assurance that a house will be better quality (warmer, drier, healthier and cost less to run) than a typical new house built to building code.

What are the next steps if I wish to purchase?

  1. Contact us to register your interest and arrange a viewing of our show home.
  2. If you’re not already pre-approved for a mortgage, speak to your bank or mortgage broker – if you don’t have a mortgage broker and you’d like us to recommend one to you, please ask your property consultant.
  3. Sign a conditional sale & purchase agreement.
  4. You will have 20 working days to complete due diligence, during which time you can cancel the purchase for any reason.
  5. You will have 10 working days to pay the deposit after confirming due diligence and the contract becoming unconditional.
  6. Completion of units and settlement of the property will be late 2020, dependant on consent processing timeframes.
